It is said that Remembering Julia is not a completely David Sylvian track: the most part of it is directly drawn from John Lurie’s o.s.t. Down by Law (directed by Jim Jarmusch)
The name of the track is The King of Thailand, The Queen of Stairs and obviously David added the lyric.
The writing credits do not mention Lurie or anybody else who played in the soundtrack.
