Ember Glance: The Permanence Of Memory was an immersive multimedia installation by David Sylvian and Russell Mills, staged at the Temporary Museum, F-GO SOKO: T33 Warehouse on Tokyo Bay, Shinagawa (29 September - 12 October 1990) as part of a series of experimental exhibitions, installations and performances conceived and produced by national and international artists at the invitation of Tokyo Creative '90.
Released on Samadhi Sound and not only did David the art direction for this great album, but he also made up the title of the album *and* all the titles of the tracks….. hmmm.
Japanese 2008 Paper Sleeve 'Mini-LP' remastered CD. It is a 'mirror' of the original 1991 LP using the same artwork. However, whilst the back of the Mini-LP Sleeve has the previous 1991 tracks listed, the actual CDs includes the remastered versions from 2003 and includes I Drink To Forget
Very little respect has been shown for the artwork of the original two releases packed in the (Europe only) budget release of Brilliant Trees and Secrets Of The Beehive.The original remastered discs has been put in a jewel case with minimal artwork.
