There were two releases for VJCP-30087. This is a Limited Edition release. It is a standard CD jewel case inside a black outer slipcase box with ‘Rain Tree Crow’ stenciled on it (same font/ format as actual CD cover lettering). An Obi is wrapped around the slipcase. CD contains 12 page booklet listing credits & slightly larger 28 page full color booklet containing song lyrics (in both Japanese and English), photos, drawings, and liner notes (in Japanese). Made in Japan by ‘Virgin Japan Ltd’ (p) 1991.
The other edition comes in a standard CD Jewel Case with a colourful Green/ Blue Obi.

The majority of the material on this album was written as a result of group improvisations. There were no pre-rehearsals; the improvisations took place in the recording studio and much of the finished work contains original elements of those initial performances.
