There is a great David Sylvian feature in the July 2005 issue of Guitar Player (US). It's six pages long. There is also an interesting piece on Porcupine Tree in the magazine too. Both pieces have been written by the respected innerviews.org owner Anil Prasad.
Finally, it looks like a videoclip of David Sylvian is coming on an official DVD. Site-reader Riverman forwarded me the great news of a series of soon to be released DVD's, of famous pop promo directors. One of them is Anton Corbijn and one of the promos on the DVD is David Sylvians Red Guitar.

Blonde Redhead have been the main support act on Interpol's US tour, which kicked off on 7th February in Cincinatti. To celebrate, 4AD has released a US-only EP which gathers together all the b-sides from the band's two 2004 UK singles ("Elephant Woman" and "Equus") into one handy package.

In its ongoing efforts to raise money for the victims of genocide in Sudan, Waxploitation Records is setting up an all-star online auction via eBay in late starting Monday, January 17th. All of the proceeds will be donated to UNICEF and the UN Refugee Agency, who are actively working relief in that region.

The Blemish album has been remixed by various artists including Ryoji Ikeda, Burnt Friedman, Readymade and other electronic stars. It will be released by P-Vine in Japan and by Samadhi Sound elsewhere.
Robert Fripp writes in his diary (Wednesday 20th. October, 2004), that he did that very day a recording session for David Sylvian's new solo album.
Swedish magazine Groove, issue #6, 2004 has an interview with Stina Nordenstam where she mentions having recently worked with David and his brother Steve.
The long awaited CD/DVD set by Takagi Masakatsu, titled Coieda, is out! It was released on September 8th on the W+K Tokyo Lab label. Exclusive for davidsylvian.net, Takagi talks about himself, the album and the touring with David and Steve. But also, David answers questions about Takagi and the track Exit/Delete which can be found on Coieda.
David is doing some work on the new Friedman & Liebezeit album, but nothing is certain yet what the outcome will be. There is a possibility that David will do vocals on a couple of tracks but officially, nothing has been confirmed.
A commercial for TIAA features a recording by David Sylvian. The track is a vocal rendition of Somewhere (from West Side Story). The commercial for TIAA was shown during the opening ceremonies for the Olympics on NBC in the USA.
Early July, David has recorded in Vienna with Christian Fennesz and ex-members of Polwechsel.
According to davidsylvian.net member abetomo, the Fire in The Forest 04 concert on April 24 at the Showa Joshi Hitomi Kinen Kohdohin in Tokyo (Japan), was recorded for Hi -Definition Television broadcast by the Japanese TV station "NHK". The show will be broadcast on 30 July 2004 from 11:45pm to 1:15am (Tokyo time) in High Vision TV format (digital format) in Japan. It means that the show can not be viewed from normal TV.
David had just finished up work on a song for the anime incarnation of the justifiably famous manga MONSTER. The music from "Monster" is released in Japan on 23/6. The catalogue number is VPCG 84807. For more information, take a look here.
