Yesterday I was at the concert and, to me, it was really amazing. I was worried about all the comments I have read on the web, regarding the fact that the whole BLEMISH performance was boring, that people had to wait one hour to hear the old stuff, etc. etc.. Having attended the show, my point is different: I have to say that, thanks to the visuals (created live by the engineer on stage) it was a great show. I think we do not have to look at this show as a concert: it was not; it was more an installation with music and visuals and the musicians, dressed in black, were almost completely shadowed on the stage. During the years, David has never had a great presence on stage while performing live and each concert was mainly about his music and (spiritual) presence and charisma. For these reason, if you take it as a multimedia show, Blemish proves to have his reason to exist and probably this is the first show in SYLVAIN career that deserves a DVD release, more than anyone else in the past. The rest of the performance, you can take it as a good almost one-man show with the old classics even improved by the noisy electronics in the background. In a few words: the man is back with all his pathos. Go on David and heal our souls!
